For executive directors

An amenity residents use every morning, and talk about at dinner.

Every morning, residents get stories they won’t find on the evening news. Those stories carry into the gatherings on your calendar, so people have something new to share every day. Your team runs it with prepared materials, and residents pay nothing.

Why it belongs on your amenity list

Resident engagement

A daily world briefing in plain English, a 3-minute 3 To Know video for the lobby screen, and large-type stories each week. Residents have something new to talk about every day.

More programs on the calendar

As many as 3 standing calendar items each week, plus a Special Report each month. Coffee and a Topic, Coffee and a Country and Coffee and a Story each come with a host guide anyone can read aloud, a resident sheet and a poster. New Table Talk cards each week give the dining tables something to talk about. Passport Week: A monthly theme residents can see and share: more reasons to come out, moments families notice, and photos that help on tours. Up to three ready-made World Desk discussions that week (Country, Story and Topic). We produce a new Passport Week every week to grow the library. Each community picks one Passport Week per calendar month from that library, and can ask us to create a special one. Included at no additional World Desk fee; optional local supplies stay with the community. Theme Weeks (new): Like a Passport Week, built around a theme instead of a country (a Big Band and USO Dinner Dance, a Roaring Twenties Speakeasy and the Golden Age of Broadway): a lead-up week that ends in one big night residents and families remember, with a ready-made run of show and a matching Coffee and a Topic. Photo-worthy for tours and newsletters. Each month your subscription includes one Passport Week or one Theme Week, your choice. Extra ones are $99 each, the same as a Passport Week. Optional local supplies stay with the community.

Stories residents share

Stories researched from newspapers around the world, often in their own languages, told in plain English. Residents bring them to lunch, to the gatherings and to their families.

Little staff time

Minimal staff time: about 15 minutes to prepare and host each scheduled calendar event. A resident can host from the guide. What it asks of your lifestyle team →

Sales can fund it

Because prospects get the briefing every day too, the program can be paid from your sales and marketing budget as well as your lifestyle budget. Sales often has room in its budget when lifestyle doesn’t.

A modest line item

Priced by community size, and residents never pay. For communities over 75 homes, the cost is under $1 per unit a month. See the pricing →

For your community as a whole

It helps your sales and marketing team, too.

A program like this is something your community can point to. On tours, your team can show a real edition residents read every week. It’s a resident benefit worth listing in your brochure and on your website. It can also go to prospective residents as a gift from your community, so they get a feel for life there before they move in. People considering a move to your community get the daily briefing free for 365 days, as your community’s gift. Your sales office pays for the Sales Plan after the free trial: 30 days for the Sales Plan, or 60 days in the Founding Sales Partner campaign; after a year, you choose to take each prospect off or keep them on longer.

Every edition carries your community’s name, so residents know it comes from you, and prospects and families who see it remember where it came from.

A partner, not just a program

This program will grow as we grow.

Feedback for both of us.

Each discussion can end with a short, anonymous resident feedback card. You see what your residents valued, and when you share the cards with us, we use them to make the next materials better.
