For sales offices at life-plan, rental and 55+ communitiesEdited by William Kohn · Aventura, Florida

For sales directors and community sales managers

Every morning, your community’s name in front of every prospect.

Prospects take months to decide. The World Desk sends each person on your list a daily world-news briefing, “Courtesy of [Your Community],” with one or two lines from you at the top. They read it because it is worth reading. You stay in touch without another sales letter.

Your gift to every prospect: each person on your list gets the daily briefing free for 365 days, courtesy of your community. Your sales office pays the Sales Plan below after the free trial: 30 days for the Sales Plan, or 60 days in the Founding Sales Partner campaign.

Sales Plan pricing

What your sales office pays after the free trial:

  • $100 a month for up to 150 people
  • +$25 a month for each additional 100 people (or part), up to 750 people
  • +$10 a month for each additional 100 people (or part) beyond 750
  • Setup: $200 one time, waived for founding partners
  • Listening (every story read aloud): included at no charge with the paid Sales Plan; not during the trial

The Sales Plan includes the daily briefing only. See what the Community Program adds.

What your prospects see

Sample briefing. Your “Community App” button sits at the very top, right under the courtesy banner, with “Your username is your email: …” under it. Your line, labeled “From [Your Community],” comes next.
  • Your name every morning. “Courtesy of [Your Community]” at the top of each briefing.
  • Your line, your way. One or two lines, about 25 words, labeled as yours: an open house, a seminar, a new floor plan. Change it every week with 72 hours’ notice, using the change form.
  • A “Community App” button. If you use Touchtown, every prospect you register sees a button that opens your Community App, with the reminder “Your username is your email.” You set up their login; Touchtown shows guests only guest items. We link to your app; we never copy or embed it.
  • Our reporting stays ours. The World Desk carries no outside advertising, and we never sell your information. Your line never appears inside a story.
  • Family can read too. Adult children can receive their own copy.

Your Lifestyle Director gets much more with the Community Program

The Sales Plan sends the daily briefing to your prospects. That is all it includes. It does not include the Lifestyle Director library, Passport Weeks, the Coffee packets or the other parts of the Community Program.

When your community also enrolls residents in the Community Program, your Lifestyle Director gets a full shelf of ready-to-run materials:

A win for sales and for residents

Your sales office pays by the size of its prospect list. Half of what sales pays is credited toward your community’s Community Program for residents. For example, if sales pays $150 a month, $75 a month comes off the residents’ program.

Add your Community App link (optional)Touchtown, for prospects and residents

It becomes one “Community App” button at the top of your prospect and resident editions, with a reminder under it: “Your username is your email: …”. The button opens your app; we never copy or embed it. The address must start with https://.

Optional. The Community App opens at a sign-in page, which is expected. A warning never stops you from sending.

Questions sales teams ask

Who can we send it to?

Only people who have agreed to hear from your community, such as prospects who toured, priority-list members, depositors and interest-list members. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Will our prospects see ads?

No. The World Desk carries no outside advertising. The only message from anyone other than our newsroom is your one or two labeled lines at the top.

How do we change our lines?

Use the change form. You can send new lines for prospects, their families and residents. Please send changes at least 72 hours before they start.

Can residents receive it too?

Yes. Residents can be added as a separate group. They see a reminder that it comes courtesy of your community and, if you like, a request for referrals, never a sales line. A Community Program community's sales office can add a referral message when it sends the briefing to residents, at no extra charge. When the sales office includes residents, the free trial applies (30 days, or 60 days in the Founding Sales Partner campaign), and Listen is included as it is for the Sales Plan. The 50% Sales credit applies under its usual rule: it lowers a Community Program community's bill when that community's sales office joins, and it stays with the Community Program. A sales office that signs up for the Sales Plan during the founding period and includes residents gets founding rates on its whole total, residents included: the $200 setup fee waived and its price held for 24 months from its start date. Founding ends February 28, 2027, or sooner when the places fill. Residents are never named in reports.

What happens after 365 days?

After each prospect’s free year, your sales office can take them off the list or extend them longer if needed. Your choice, in writing.

We have several communities. Is there one contract?

Yes. Group pricing for several communities is set on the Order Form. Paying yearly takes 15% off.
